A Boutique Marketing Agency That Does Things Differently

Why Boutique Works Better

Big agencies love to talk about their "full-service capabilities" and "dedicated teams." What they don't mention is that you'll get sold by a senior partner and handed off to whoever's free — usually someone learning on your dime. We do things differently.

You're not a number. We stay small on purpose, and take on only the clients we can genuinely serve well. You get real attention, not a ticket.

Senior-level work, start to finish. The people who build your strategy are the people who execute it. No handoffs, no "learning on your account."

Focused on what works. No fluff, no endless strategy meetings, no deliverables invented to justify billable hours — just the things that actually grow your business.

Honest about fit. If we're not right for what you need, we'll say so and point you to someone who is. Life's too short for bad-fit relationships.

How Purple Wave Creative Got Its Name

Let's be honest — most business names start with the reality that every good URL is already taken. After crossing off a long list, Purple Wave Creative was the one that actually meant something.

Purple came from a couple of places: Seth Godin's "Purple Cow" — be the one that stands out in a field of sameness — and a nod to Prince, one of the most creative artists who ever lived.

Wave comes from Lake Michigan. There's something about watching the water that clears your head and reminds you what matters — rhythm, presence, and finding a flow that actually works, in life and in business.

Creative is what we do, and how we do it: fresh thinking instead of the same playbook everyone else runs.

Put together, it means: stand out, find your rhythm, solve problems creatively.

Not the flashiest origin story — but it's honest, and that's kind of our thing.
